How it works

Booking is simple. The rest, unforgettable.

Pick a departure, book in your name and get your QR straight away. On tour day your guide scans it and you set off.

1Step 01

Pick your departure

Filter tours by category, date, group size and language. Inside each tour you choose the day and compare that day's departures side by side: time, guide, seats left and price.

  • Filter by category, date, number of people and tour language.
  • Choose the day and compare departures: time, guide, rating, languages and seats.
  • Rather go just as a group? Book the whole departure as a private tour.

You reach the meeting point — or the guide comes for you — and show your QR. It is scanned in seconds and the tour begins. Zero paperwork, maximum respect for the place.

  • Validated in seconds, from the guide's phone.
  • Small groups: each guide sets the size and you see it on the departure.
  • Afterwards you can rate the tour and your guide, and upload your photos.

Why Rapa Nui Link

A different way to visit the island.

We don't sell mass tours. We connect travelers with people whose families have lived on Rapa Nui for generations.

Certified guides

Every guide meets SERNATUR and CONAF standards to operate inside the National Park.

Small groups

Each guide decides how many people they take, and the size shows on every departure — you know the group before you book.

Risk-free booking

You pay securely and get your QR immediately. The price you see is the total, no surprises, and you can cancel under our policy.

Positive impact

Most of the price goes to the guide and their family. No opaque middlemen.

Before you book

Check who you're going with, and when.

Everything you need to decide is on the tour page and the guide's profile. Three things worth a look before you confirm:

  • Who will guide youTheir story, the languages they speak, their tours and reviews from travelers who already went with them.
  • The exact departureDay, time, how many seats are left, and whether it is shared or the whole departure as a private tour.
  • What is and isn't includedThe price you see is the booking total. The National Park ticket is paid separately.

Frequently asked

What we usually answer.

The questions we get most about booking, paying and the day of the tour.

Booking and paying

Yes. You can create it with your email or sign in with Google right as you book, without leaving the page. We also ask for an ID document (RUT, national ID or passport): it stays on your booking and voucher, so the guide knows who they are taking and to back the payment. Once the account exists, your details are pre-filled on future bookings.

From Chile, with Webpay (credit, debit or prepaid cards) or Khipu, a transfer from your Chilean bank; both are charged in Chilean pesos. From abroad, with PayPal or an international card: that is charged in US dollars at the current exchange rate, and we show you both the dollar amount and its peso equivalent before you confirm. Payment happens in the provider's own window, so we never see your card details.

Yes. The price shown on the tour is already the total you will pay, service charge included — nothing is added at the end. The only thing paid separately is the National Park ticket, which goes directly to the park.

It means buying the whole departure for your group: nobody else joins, even if you are fewer than the capacity. It appears on the tour page as an option next to the per-person price, with its own total. It is only available while nobody has booked seats on that departure; once someone has, the departure stays shared. Some departures are offered as private tours only and are marked as such.

Before the tour

It depends on the tour. Most have a fixed meeting point, shown on the tour page, on your voucher and in My bookings. On others the guide picks you up: in that case we ask for the hotel or address where you will be when you book.

For several of the island's archaeological sites, yes: the Rapa Nui National Park (Ma'u Henua) ticket is compulsory and is not included in the tour price. You buy it separately, on the park's official site or in person once you arrive, and it is valid for several days. Some tours visit places that don't require it; either way, your guide will tell you when it has to be validated.

Guides are native Spanish and Rapa Nui speakers, many run tours in English and some in French, German or Mandarin. Every tour states which languages it runs in, and you can filter by language on the tours page. The whole site is available in Spanish, English, French, German and Chinese.

We work with small groups, but there is no single number across the platform: each guide sets the capacity of their departure based on the route and the vehicle. You see how many seats are left on every departure before booking, and on a private tour the whole departure is yours.

Water, sunscreen, a hat and comfortable shoes for walking on volcanic rock. Bring your QR too (on your phone or printed), your ID document, and the park ticket if the tour needs it. Each tour page spells out what is specific to that route.

Tour day and after

It appears on screen as soon as the payment is confirmed, we email it to you, and it stays available in My bookings inside your account. You can also download a PDF voucher with the QR and the tour details — the safest option if you think you won't have signal. On tour day your guide scans it and that's it.

Weather on Rapa Nui changes fast and, for safety, parts of the park sometimes close. If conditions make the tour impossible, your guide gets in touch and works it out with you: you can agree on a new date or cancel the departure, in which case you get your money back. If it is only cloudy or drizzling, the tour goes ahead — the island is beautiful in any weather.

Yes, and only whoever booked can. After the departure we email you an invitation to rate the tour and your guide separately, write a comment and upload photos. Those are the reviews you see on the tour page and the guide's profile, and they count towards both averages.

Changes and cancellations

Yes, from My bookings. How much comes back depends on how early you cancel: more than 72 hours before the departure, 100%; between 72 and 24 hours, 25%; less than 24 hours, no refund (and none if you do not show up). We show you the exact amount before you confirm. The payment provider's fee is deducted from the refund. If you made a mistake booking or need another date, write to us: section 6 of the terms explains how we handle it.

We let you know as soon as it happens and review the case: the aim is to move you to another departure of the same tour or, if you prefer, refund you 100%. You can still leave feedback on how the cancellation was handled.
